Girls Just Want to have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that I am quite possibly the luckiest gal on the planet for the following reasons:
  1. I have the best husband in the WORLD!
  2. I love my little girl more than words can express and am anxiously awaiting our newest arrival!
  3. I have the BEST friends a girl could ask for...
  4. I am enjoying my family--while LOVING new found small town lifestyle more than I ever thought I would!
  5. Last night I laughed more (and enjoyed some much NEEDED company with my gal pals) than I have in a LONG, LONG time.
It was a much needed outing too!  At one point, I thought my water may have broke and it might be "time" to go to Minot, but NO that's not what happened!  Friends-- I am embarrassed to say--I was laughing so hard that I THINK I might have peed in my pants a little.  What am I talking that I "think" I may have--pretty sure that as I roll to the end of this pregnancy, things just aren't as strong as they once were!  I am falling apart! GROSS!!!

In 11 days I will be stuck in my house for months--and even if I do get out, it will be short lived as I plan to nurse my little one, just as I did with Savannah.  When you're a nursing mother, you don't dare be away from your baby for too long OR beware of the consequences.  (If you were OR are a nursing mother, you will understand what I am talking about....)

Some days I really think that the bottle method (add formal to warm water--shake, shake--plop the bottle in the baby's mouth--and ANYONE can do it) might be a better option for this baby, but I must first try to nurse.  Things were just so much EASIER when we finally decided to give Savannah formula at 7 months (since I figured out I was STARVING the poor child).  The second time around, I will HOPEFULLY see the signs earlier than 7 months if things aren't working correctly.  I just can't be tied down to a chair feeding a child for 3/4 of my day like when I had Savannah!   She was ALWAYS hungry...I wonder why!?!??!  I think toward the end I produced 1/2 ounce of milk (total) when trying to express from both sides.  YIKES!

The point of these ramblings are simple:  My sweet husband stayed at home with my little girl last night so I could go out with my girlfriends--and I had the BEST time I have had in a LONG time.  Like the perfect ending to a great book--(I thought to myself) Girls just want to have fun....AND WE DID!
THE END
