Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'

Preston's Baptism
June 29th, 2011
St. Paul's Lutheran Church

Cousin Aaron and Chris with Preston

My Brother Derrick and Missy
Preston was baptized this week.  Aaron, Chris, Alex and Will came to see us all the way from Michigan.  They were co-sponsors for Preston's baptism along with my brother, Derrick and his wife Missy.  We had a great time visiting with family and catching up!

Savannah is such a hoot--and is getting SASSIER every day.  When she becomes her sassy self, I must remind myself of times when she's a hoot and so cute...and take a deep breath and remind myself that, "this too, shall pass", right?!?!?  Her latest-- every time she gets mad, something (the closest object) gets tossed full speed usually right at either her brother or me.  NOT GOOD!  This weekend it was a book right at Grandma Fischer's knee.  Little stinker.  Anyway, she definitely has a temper (I have no idea where she gets that...) and her 21 month way of dealing with her anger right now is throwing.  Any thoughts on how to keep this bad habit at bay mothers out there????

Happy 4th of July from QUEEN SAVANNAH!!
Here she is being cute....
Must remember this face when frustration sets in.....

Huston...We have a problem.  Not really a problem, more like here comes mobility for my little P man!  Preston decided that he was ready to roll over for the first time on July 1st.  Of course, the stay at home mom that I am--who rarely leaves her children's side MISSED this milestone.  That's just the way it goes....right?  However, since Aaron (my cousin) and his wife Chris got to see Preston make his first move from belly to back, I have seen it plenty of times and now he thinks he should try rolling the other direction from back to belly--so hopefully I can witness this first roll.  Now only ground surfaces are safe unless buckled in....what a big boy!  He is going to keep "Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'--Keep them puppies rollin".  :)
