On St. Patty’s Day our family was blessed with baby #2,
He came home with us all dressed in blue.
BUT BEFORE THAT COULD HAPPEN I heard at precisely 8:09 AM someone exclaim,
“You’re baby is here” and I knew he was worth all the pain.
“You’re whopping boy is weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 ozs,
With a height of 19 3/4 inches,” the nurse announces.
We named our sweet boy Preston Sidney to honor a special man,
Paul and I are still trying to work out our “two children in the house now” game plan!
Big Sister Savannah loves her brother very much,
She’s very curious about him and loves to kiss, hug and touch!
Our hearts are filled with love, happiness, and fears,
We’re looking forward to what will happen throughout the years.
Now at home, when my baby boy and daughter start to slumber,
This mom will take advantage and sleep too, as they will now not outnumber.
I must bid ado, but I want to end by saying,
We’d love to have you over if you’re in the mood for some playing!
