P is for PARTY!!!

The Black Eyed Peas' concert
September 3rd, 2011
The crowd was out to help support the community of Minot this Labor Day weekend!  I was in awe as I walked through the fair grounds and saw the massive amounts of people who showed up to enjoy the Black Eyed Peas' music and the company of friends.  It shouldn't have surprised me to see how many people came to the concert.....that is just what people from ND do; we come together to support each other in times of need.  I read an article that announced the concert helped to raise over 1.3 million dollars for the Minot community.  AMAZING!
Teresa and I having some MUCH needed food before the concert!

We had a great time at the concert and I am pretty sure this is the best concert I have been to at the Minot State Fair Grounds.  Lots of sparkle and lights.  Fergie was amazing--and will-i-am had some pretty amazing moments too.  What an amazing thing the Black Eyed Peas' did for ND!

Toward the end of the concert--One of my favorites with two of my favorite people!
I got to visit with my GREAT friend Jodi and her friend Megan!
Love these girls!  What a great ending to a wonderful night!

The party did not stop there though--On September 8th my mother celebrated her, ah-hem, 39th birthday!  I took the kids over to her office and SURPRISED her--some new sliders from Lia Sophia, lunch, and lots of kisses and love from her grand kids!

We like to Party at our house and it's been a non-stop party train around here since September started.  What a great month!  My mom's birthday, followed by my niece Aricka's birthday, followed by Preston's half birthday (6 months old this month), followed by Savannah's 2nd birthday.  What a lot to celebrate!  I love this month!  Not to mention that Fall is arriving and I love fall weather in ND!  The trees are so beautiful and the air starts to get crisp and smells so good!

Savannah enjoying herself in our back yard!  She makes me laugh every day!
Jada--I haven't been very good at taking her picture lately!  I think she is still such a beautiful dog!  She's not a puppy anymore, but I still think she has a puppy look to her!  She is so good with the kids and enjoys and appreciates more and more every day what Savannah can offer her.  Jada has become Savannah's clean up crew at breakfast, lunch and dinner.  She patiently awaits by Savannah's side for something YUMMY to fall on the floor to consume!  Pretty soon she will not know what to do when she'll have to start going back and forth between Savannah and Preston's chairs!

Paul loves these two more than just about anything.  He is such a great dad!  Both kids just light up when they see their daddy come home from work and as their mother it's such a wonderful thing to see!  I truly appreciate him more than words can express.  I really got lucky when I found him!

I think that this picture makes Savannah look like such a big girl.  Its a blurry shot, but I just had to add it.  You can get and understanding of how I am seeing her grow up so fast....right before my very own eyes!  She'll be 2 at the end of this month!  Where did the last two years go??!!

Get ready for some other fun blogs this month because P is for PARTY...and this is going to be a great month full of parties!
